Process & Customization
How does the process of creating our ceremony work?
After our initial consultation, I’ll draft a customized ceremony script based on your preferences. Together, we’ll refine it until it perfectly reflects who you are as individuals and as a couple.
Will we get to review and approve the ceremony script beforehand?
Yes. The ceremony is about you, so I make sure you’re completely comfortable with every word before your big day.

Of course. I can provide examples, guidance, and inspiration to help you write vows that feel authentic and meaningful.

How many weddings have you officiated?
Since 1992, I’ve had the honor of presiding over more than 3,000 weddings. Every ceremony is unique, and I bring that experience to every couple I work with.

Logistics & Legalities
Do you take care of the marriage license?
You’ll need to apply for and obtain your marriage license from your county or state office. After the ceremony, I’ll sign and return the license to the proper authority to make your marriage legal.
Do you travel to weddings outside of your local area?
Yes. I’m happy to travel, and any travel arrangements can be discussed during our consultation.
How far in advance should we book you?
As soon as possible! Dates can fill quickly, especially during peak wedding season, so I encourage you to reserve your date early.

Do you officiate vow renewals or commitment ceremonies?
Yes, I’m honored to create and officiate vow renewals, anniversaries, and commitment ceremonies that celebrate your continuing love story.
Can you provide rehearsal services?
Absolutely. A rehearsal ensures everyone feels comfortable and confident on the day of the ceremony. If you decide not to request my participation at the rehearsal, know that I arrive on wedding day at the venue early to coordinate with your event coordinator and the other vendors you have hired for your wedding day festivities.
