Wedding fees
Wedding fees vary based on several factors, which we’ll discuss during our initial meeting. Every ceremony script I prepare is centered around the couple and crafted to reflect your values, your story, and the tone you want for your celebration. If you have cultural elements, special requests, or unique traditions you’d like to include, I may complete additional research to ensure everything is represented accurately and thoughtfully.
If you would like me to attend your rehearsal, there is an additional fee; however, I am always available by phone or email throughout your planning process. On your wedding day, I arrive at least 40 minutes before the scheduled start time. This gives us the opportunity to go over any last-minute questions and allows me to coordinate with your vendors so everything flows smoothly.
The ceremony fee is $800, and a non-refundable retainer of $400 is required to reserve your date. The remaining balance of $400 is due two weeks before your wedding. If you’d like me to attend your rehearsal, the additional fee is $300.
Elopement Fees
Elopement ceremonies are a wonderful option for couples who want a simple, intimate celebration. Elopement ceremony fees start at $450 in Northern Virginia, Washington, DC, and Maryland. These rates apply on non-holiday weekdays and exclude weekends and holidays.
License Signing Fee
A license signing is ideal for couples who prefer to have a family member or friend lead their ceremony but need a legally authorized officiant to finalize the marriage. It is also a helpful option for couples who want to become legally married before their wedding day.
I will meet you at a mutually convenient time, ask each partner to confirm that they willingly enter the marriage, complete your marriage license, and mail it to the appropriate court to ensure everything is filed correctly. License signing fees range from $75 to $150, plus travel.
